  • If the vehicle is covered by a Day’s Fleet maintenance or fleet managed contract the quickest way to book a service is by using our online portal.

    Alternatively call DriverLine on 0345 123 8020 and choose option 2.

    Any work booked independently may not be authorised by Day’s Fleet and may lead to delays in getting the vehicle back on the road. Vehicle will be booked into a garage within our preferred network. If you require a collection and delivery service or courtesy vehicle please state at time of booking.

  • Please call DriverLine on 0345 123 8020 and choose option 1 and then option 1 again.

  • If the vehicle contract includes tyre replacement then these will be replaced once the minimum tread depth reaches 2mm.

    To ensure availability of the particular tyre and size required we recommend always making an appointment to attend a Kwik Fit. To make an appointment for a tyre change please identify your tyre size and book online or call 0345 123 8020 and choose option 2 and then option 2 again.

    Walk in appointments at Kwik Fit are accepted but tyre availability cannot be guaranteed.

    If you require assistance due to a puncture or damage to a tyre please call DriverLine on 0345 123 8020 and choose option 2 and then option 2 again (additional charges will apply for this service).

  • Please ensure that the vehicle is serviced at the manufacturers recommended service intervals (please contact us if you require more information).

    Full service history will be required when the vehicle is returned to Day’s Fleet at end of contract.

  • MOT is required once vehicle is 3 years old (4 years in NI)

    Minibuses require an MOT after 12 months.

    MOT’s can be booked up to 90 days in advance via our website or by calling DriverLine on 0345 123 8020 and choosing option 2

  • If a short term vehicle is required (additional charges will apply) please contact our Daily Rental team on 0800 681 6025 and choose option 3.

  • You must get the permission of your employer and Day’s Fleet before you fit any accessories to the vehicle.

    Accessories should be sourced and fitted from the vehicle manufacturer where possible.

    Any damage caused to the vehicle by the fitment or removal of an accessory will be recharged.

  • To take a leased vehicle abroad you will require a VE103B Certificate (additional charges will apply).

    Please apply for the VE103B at least 10 working days before travel via our website.

  • New vehicles will be taxed for 12 months.

    Day’s Fleet will automatically renew your RFL and the DVLA will hold an electronic record which you can view here.

  • Please inform us of your latest mileage as often as you can.

  • The vehicle should be returned to us in a good and clean condition in line with the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Guidelines.

    All original equipment including any accessories which were included in the lease should be in / on the vehicle.

    Don’t forget items such as spare keys, service records, satellite navigation discs and locking wheel nuts.

    Please ensure all personal data is removed from the vehicle including sat nav and phonebook data and all personal belongings and documentation.

  • Smoking in a leased vehicle is prohibited by law.

    The legislation states that a ‘No Smoking’ sign should be displayed in the vehicle.

    Day’s Fleet also prohibits the use of e-cigarettes.

  • Day’s Fleet can also offer personal contract hire to an individual who may take a cash allowance or wishes to lease a vehicle personally.
