    Regulatory notices

    This document provides country and region specific non-wireless and wireless regulatory notices and compliance information for your product. Some of these notices may not apply to your product.

    Prohibition of co-location

    This device and its antenna(s) must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

  • 1. Please measure the front windshield viewing area. Make sure not to block driver’s front view, install the dashcam below the rearview mirror (the central, higher right position of the front windshield). Align the horizon to be in the middle of the screen, fix the holder and then adjust the dashcam so that the lane is centered with the screen.

    2. Ensure that the lens is within the wiping range of the windscreen wiper to maintain a clear view.

    3. Do not touch the lens with your fingers. Finger grease may be left on the lens and will result in unclear videos or pictures. Clean the lens on a regular basis.

    4. Do not install the dashcam on a tinted window. Doing so may damage the tint film.

    5. Video quality will be affected if installed on privacy glass.

    6. Use the supplied power charger only.

  • Insert the memory card on the side of the device. Ensure the device is switched off.

    Removing memory card


    Switch off the power and turn the device off before removing the memory card.

    Note:
    1. Do not remove or insert the memory card when the device is on to avoid damage.

    2. Use a microSD class 10 or over, with a capacity of 16GB or greater (maximum of 128 GB).

    3. Use the device to format microSD card before use.

    4. Regularly format the memory card. Once per month is suggested.

  • Mount the device to windshield

    1. Place the electrostatic sticker on the suggested area on the windshield as suggested on the diagram below. Wipe and clean the glass before installation. During installation, remove bubbles between the electrostatic sticker and the glass.

    2. Peel off the protective plastic sheet from the adhesive bracket.

    3. Fix the bracket on the electrostatic sticker of the windshield and press gently to make sure the bracket has been fixed.

    4. Slightly move the camera up and down to adjust the angle of view.

  • Use only the supplied car charger to activate the device.

    1. Connect one end of car charger to the USB port of the dashcam. USB input: DC 5V/2A.

    2. Connect the other end of car charger to the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle. The dashcam will be automatically turned on after starting the car engine. Car charge input: DC 12/24V.

  • Before using the device, we suggest to set up the correct time zone, date and time.

    Note: Please note that pressing the Menu button will stop video recording and OSD function table will be shown. Please confirm video recording. Options of Function Menu can be terminated and then re-initiated.

  • Follow steps below to set up the correct time zone.

    1. Press the Menu button to enter OSD and select Setting.

    2. Press Up/Down button to select Set Time Zone then press OK to enter Function Menu.

    3. Press Up/Down button to set up your current time zone and then press OK button to complete your setting.

    4. Press Enter/Return to return to video recording screen.

    Note:

    1. If Satellite Synchronisation is initiated, when satellite positioning is completed, the satellite time set up on the device for the time zone will be used for time calibration.

    2. If the satellite cannot be positioned, the time of the device will depend on that set up by users.

  • Follow methods below to set up the correct date and time.

    1. Press Menu button to enter OSD contents and select Setting.

    2. Press Up/Down button to select Date/Time and then press OK to enter Function Menu.

    3. Press Up/Down button to adjust number value and press OK to switch to the next column.

    4. Repeat Step 3 until you finish the setting of date and time.

    Note: To ensure accuracy of the video recording file, if the device has not been used longer than 7 days, please reset date and time.

  • After starting the vehicle, please wait for a couple of seconds for the device to charge the super capacitor. After a few seconds, the device will be automatically initiated for video recording.

    Note:

    1. Some vehicle power supplies will not turn on / off automatically with the vehicle starting. If the dashcam cannot automatically power on/ off with the vehicle, please manually connect the power supply to the vehicle power and power on or manually power off the dashcam and then release the connector with the vehicle power supply.

    2. It can be configured to save a video file for every 1 minute, 2 or 3 minutes of recording.

    3. All the videos and photos are saved on the memory card, if memory card is full, loop recording will overwrite the oldest video file.

    4. The dashcan has a built-in super capacitor. After starting the vehicle please wait a few seconds for the initiation of the dashcam. The dashcam will automatically power on and start recording.

  • To start emergency video recording, do the following:

    1. During video recording, press Emergency/Confirm button to enter the Emergency Mode and on the left upper corner of the screen, “ Emergency” is displayed. During Emergency Mode, videos recorded will be protected.

    2. The emergency video recording length is the same as the recording interval setting. When the emergency recording length reaches the preset, the system will return to general recording mode.

    Note:

    1. If Collision Detection is initiated and collision is detected, the device will automatically enter the Emergency Mode.

    2. By that time , a new locked emergency video recording file is built and stored in the Emergency folder. This file will be protected from being overwritten by general loop video recording. The Emergency folder occupies about 40% capacity of memory card. For example, if the memory card has the capacity of 8GB, about

    3. 2 GB is used for emergency video recording. When emergency video recording files occupies the designated capacities, old files will be automatically deleted.

  • 1. During recording, press Menu to terminate recording and enter the Main Menu.

    2. Press Up/Down to select Playback and then press OK.

    3. Press Left/Right to select Video, Emergency, or Picture and then press OK.

    4. Press Left/Right to select the video or picture to be played and press OK to confirm playback. Press Power button to switch front and rear camera’s (where fitted) recorded files.

    5. Press Enter/Return repeatedly to return to the recording screen.

  • Follow steps below to delete files:

    1. Press Menu to enter OSD contents and select Setting.

    2. Press Up/Down button to select Delete Files and then press OK.

    3. Press Up/Down button to select the folder that you would like to delete and then press OK.

    The following options will be displayed and press OK to confirm.

    Delete One
    Delete all files selected.

    Delete All
    Delete all files in the folder.

    4. Press Up/Down to select a video or picture file to be deleted and press OK to confirm the deletion.

    Note:

    1. Deleted files cannot be recovered. Ensure the files you wish to preserve are backed up before deletion.

    2. If the file is taken by front camera and rear camera at the same time, no matter whether you delete video or picture from the front camera folder or the rear camera folder, both front camera file and rear camera file will be deleted.
